Texas Neurology strives to provide patient-friendly services. Our courteous and well-trained staff is here to assist you with your healthcare needs and make your visit to our office as hassle free as possible. The following information will assist you in your care.
Practice Description
Texas Neurology is a group practice of 8 board certified neurologists who are each trained to provide the highest level of care. Many of our physicians specialize or have a particular interest in specific disorders; however, all of our physicians are able to care for patients with any neurological disorder. More information on our practice description can be found in the full Patient Information Guide.
Office Hours
Our physicians and nurses maintain regular office hours Monday through Friday including morning and afternoon appointments.
Test Results
In the event that your test results are abnormal, you will be contacted promptly if the situation is urgent or your medication or treatment should need to be changed. Please note that it can take up to 10 business days for our office to receive test results. If your test results are within normal limits, you will be notified of your results by mail as soon as all testing has been completed, results have been received and reviewed by the ordering physician. More information on test results can be found in the full
Patient Information Guide.
After Hours Medical Coverage
A physician is on call at all times to handle urgent calls. Routine requests should be made during office hours when the staff has access to your records. Our answering service can be reached at (214) 346-1317. More information on our after hours medical coverage can be found in the full
Patient Information Guide.
Telephone and Voicemail
Our telephone policies are meant to allow us to care for our patients with a minimum of interruptions to the physicians. Only a physician or registered nurse should give medical advice to you. If your call is not urgent, please leave a concise message in the voice mailbox for your physician’s nurse. Using voice mail allows you to leave a complete message, which helps us to serve you better. Routine calls are usually returned within 12-24 hours. Please leave day and evening phone numbers. We are happy to return calls as time allows, but we often return calls at night. More information on our telephone and voicemail policy can be found in the full
Patient Information Guide.
Schedule Changes
If you make an appointment that you are unable to keep, please call as far in advance as possible so that we can reschedule your appointment and use that time to care for other patients. From time to time, due to circumstances beyond our control, we may need to reschedule your appointment. Please make sure that our receptionist has your correct phone number(s) so that we may notify you promptly should any scheduling changes occur.
Financial Policy
Payment for all designated patient responsibility is requested for office services at the time they are rendered. More information on our financial policy and Insurance coverage can be found in the full
Patient Information Guide.
